Zac and Dusty are two brothers (Irish twins) who live on opposite sides of the country. They both work in entertainment and often tour and visit clients all over the country. They knew building a camper van would help with their travels, as well as a great excuse to travel cross country to visit each other!

Sawyer was named after Zac’s young son, his co-pilot for his travels, and is built on a Ford Transit High Roof 148” extended van. The layout was designed to accommodate Zac’s height (6’4”) and to create a separate sleeping space for little Sawyer. The face-to-face sofa area converts into an extra sleep surface. Sawyer loves having his own bed!

With all the space dedicated to sleeping, we needed to ensure the brothers had enough room to cook. Therefore we installed two counter extensions to their kitchenette that easily flip-up when it’s time to make meals.

The kitchenette includes a Dometic CRX 110S Stainless Fridge, drop-in sink, and a built-in 2-burner propane stove. 25 gallons of fresh water feed the sink and outdoor shower of the rear which can be heated with their electric hot water heater.

Sawyer ventures out with an off grid power system that includes 400W of solar, 300ah of house battery bank, a 2000W Victron Multiplus with shore power hookup, and an Orion DC-DC charger.

Sawyer is a unique van that’s hard to miss with its custom wrap that vibes both adventure and business. Zac even had a small toy Ford Transit van “wrapped” in the same style for his son.

Now the brothers have “Large Sawyer” (the van), “Little Sawyer” (Zac’s son) and now a “Mini Sawyer” (the toy)!

The adventures of Sawyer have just begun, and we’re proud to be a part of their story.
